Hey there - I’m Dr. Sam, the founder of Emerald!

I’m a holistic physical therapist, strength coach, back pain and postpartum pelvic floor specialist obsessed with coffee, dogs, kettlebells and helping women feel STRONG.

Going through my own chronic back pain and pelvic floor journey completely changed my perspective as a physical therapist and led me down a path of exploring different treatment techniques and methods I realized were missing from traditional PT care. In 2019, I opened Emerald with the vision of creating a space for women to heal holistically, get strong AF, unleash their inner athlete and reconnect to themselves.

When we FEEL good, we DO good and the world needs your gifts and magic, friend. When we feel strong in our bodies, we feel strong in all areas of our life - we can be attentive partners, patient parents, thoughtful friends, generous givers, and impact-driven change makers in our communities.

My passion is helping you feel GOOD in your body so you can unleash your best, strongest self and live your happiest, most fulfilling, purpose-driven life.

In February, I injured my lower back from adding on weight too quickly to my strength workouts. I did try other PTs to help with the pain, but my lower back injury would always return a week later.
